Wil and Mareth search for answers. Elsewhere: King Ander seeks reinforcement and is given an ultimatum after visiting a nearby kingdom.
Wil, Mareth, and Allanon travel to a dangerous territory for an answer. King Ander meets the Princess of Leah, but finds she is more than he bargained for. Time is of the essence when Wil and Mareth travel to uncharted territory to recover an item.
Bandon and his followers race to resurrect the Warlock Lord while Mareth must risk everything before it's too late. Wil confronts his past and the bond between Allanon and Mareth continues to grow.
Eretria confesses a dark secret to Wil and Bandon's deepest wish is granted, but with a catch. In the final showdown, Wil must save the Four Lands. Later: Wil, Mareth and Eretria grapple with the loss of one of their own.
The Shannara Chronicles may have moved from MTV to Spike for season 2, but the cast and the countryside are no less beautiful for it. If "Druid" is any indication of what's to come, we might be in for a more exciting ride this season. One that will actually be - y'know - memorable. While not quite the auspicious rebirth it could have been, Druid is a vast improvement over the narrative meandering that previously plagued the series.
